A UNIQUE STAG WEEKEND
Friday evening
Arrive Friday evening at our farm venue for a warm welcome
Visit a local pub for dinner, or have a meal at the farm cooked by John the Chef
Saturday – Bushcraft Expedition
After a good night’s sleep in the amazing bunk barn, enjoy a bacon butty

Outward leg of expedition from base to woodland camp area
Identify & taste wild food along the route
Discover the Archaeology, Natural History, Wildlife, Conservation, Landscape Ecology of the area Set up camp area in woodland – selecting campsite, location & orientation
Gather material for fire, learn basic fire lighting techniques and get the camp fire going
Have your first backwoods brew made over the fire
Learn how to safely use a Swedish MORA bushcraft knife
Skin & prepare rabbit, pheasant, or other seasonal wild game
Cook lunch over camp fire, including wild food collected

Afternoon activities
Friction fire lighting techniques
Shelter building - erecting bashas, basic survival shelter building
More advanced knife use - carve & whittle a wooden spoon or fork
Atl Atl spear-throwing competition
Decamp, & return to base (probably knackered but totally addicted to spoon carving!)
